Merry Christmas and Happy New York

Hope everyone is in fine health.

Please continue to take good care of yourselves.

Still on hiatus. I guess one day it’ll be over and I’ll be blogging again.

Hopefully, 2014 will turn out to be infinitely better than 2013.

Cheers.

    Hey Betty,

Happy New Year! Take your time, enjoy your break. I ditched the book of face cause I could no longer deal with the foolishness so I understand needing to step away.

    2014 will be great!

    LET THE REBRANDING BEGIN!

I am so happy right now I am trying so hard not to cry! Heck I am crying.

I came across an article that states according to some study we are the most educated group by race and gender!

I know people can say what they want re education and types of education and I know there will be haters..

But I am just so proud right now!

I can see people are trying to come for us right now with comments like:

    “Are they really?” Blink..blink..

Bwhahahaha! When I find a good link, I will post.

Oh my goodness can you guys imagine? With all of us Sojourners, following our bliss, cultivating out femininity…with this as a new meme being bandied about us…

Oshun, I searched for the story and true to form, there were some who just couldn’t help themselves with their stupidity.

That said, there was a comment from a bm that made me chuckle. Bw are getting the heck out of dodge and this is just the start. Anyway, here’s the comment:

They’re ours! All you other men… get your eyes off of them! I’ve been fearing this day! The gentrification of Black Women :(

Here is an article discussing marriage trends since 1990. More reasons for BW to improve themselves and to move on to greener pastures.

    More good news about BW:

“Furthermore, African American women are both the fastest-growing segment of the women-owned-business population and the largest share of female business owners among women of color, at 13 percent. African American women are starting businesses at a rate six times the national average, and their 2.7 million firms are currently generating $226.8 billion in annual revenue and employing almost 1.4 million people.”

I wanted to give you guys a heads up..to be safe and protect yourselves.

There is an ebola outbreak. This is the Zaire strain that promises death, but from what I have been able to read online- it has mutated. It now has a longer incubation period and it can be transmitted sexually.

And this just in from Detroit…man that city has fallen. The frightening thing is that I don’t think it will be the only city where this will happen. It give me chills thinking about the Cholera and Dysentery outbreaks..
