Premiere’s List: 40 Most Handsome Hollywood Men

Chopped, modified, and borrowed from By: Staff, 08/21/2009 11:51 am

Mentally, I cross off the guys that still look like kids (at least to me). What’s left are these guys – in no particular order – that are a little rough around the edges (some might be geezers to y’all):

  • Bradley Cooper,
  • Ryan Reynolds,
  • Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson,
  • Johnny Depp (I just love him, it’s not about the looks anymore),
  • Eric Bana (goofy sexy),
  • Aaron Eckhart (slobber / drool),
  • Idris Elba (sorta has a sneaky vibe, but nice to look at),
  • Daniel Craig (fugly sexy),
  • Dennis Quaid,
  • Ed Burns (I can’t stand him, but yeah, I’d do him),
  • and old school handsome George Clooney (I like looking at him, not really interested in touching).

The other guys: Meh.

My snarky comments are under the picture captions.

Update: I tell you, the ladies added way way hotter additions than what Premiere came up with. See the comments section. :D

1. James Franco

Mr Petulant and Sulky

2. Robert Pattinson

Here today. Gone tomorrow.

Here today. Gone tomorrow. Keep that hope alive.

3. Bradley Cooper

This picture does him no justice. I'd hit that.

4. Hugh Jackman

He's likeable. Handsome? Sorta.

5. Josh Duhamel

The guy leaves me dry. He's okay.

6. Ryan Reynolds

He really should stop wearing clothes.

7. Jake Gyllenhaal

I want to lobby Congress to pass legislative to keep him from "acting." Dude cannot act his way out of a paperbag. Always the same expression throughout an entire movie. As for being handsome: Meh.

8. Christian Bale

He's good looking, but the "crazy" wipes it away. How could Premiere leave out Sam Worthington?

My addition: Sam Worthington

He's not on the list! Are these people nuts?

9. Channing Tatum

Is it the steroids? Is he John Cena's mini-me? Probably.

John Cena will kick your ass!

10. Orlando Bloom

He's never going to look like an adult.

11. James Marsden

Good looking guy, he just never looks right on screen. Do they do it on purpose?

12. Brad Pitt

Mr. Smug, Smirky, and Annoying

13. Jamie Foxx

Chinese Shar Pei aka Jamie Foxx

14. Gerard Butler

Not actually handsome, but he is an entertaining actor.

15. Joseph Gordon Levitt

He's been an old man his entire life. Ease up on the recreational drugs dude.

16. Zac Efron

My how he's grown.

17. Chris Pine

I give him props for nailing the Captain Kirk-a-tude correctly.

18. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

I wont hold my breath that half-negro will ever co-star a real black woman as his love interest. He's still fine though.

19. Jonathan Rhys Meyers

I don't get the attraction for this guy, but I wont hate on him. He's a good actor.

20. Jay Hernandez

¿quién es este? Who is this? Never heard of the guy.

21. Robert Downey Jr.

Downey's got "crazy man" eyes.

22. Denzel Washington

At least he's not afraid of co-starring with a black actress. Much love, Denzel!

23. Johnny Depp

Ever since 21 Jump Street, still love the guy. Don't be afraid of the sisters Johnny, at least co-star with one in a major flick (the pirate franchise doesn't count).

24. Leonardo DiCaprio

For the longest time I still thought he was in his 20s. He is an old man though!

25. Emile Hirsch

Sorry. He looks like a woman to me.

26. Chris Messina

27. Paul Rudd

He reminds me of Jason Bateman.

The brother of Paul Rudd?

28. Eric Bana

So hot. And I forgive him for the Hulk movie.

29. Tyrese Gibson

Think we'll ever see a black woman with his features get work like him? Oh, I didn't think so either. I was wondering if he now has in his contract to not have any black women as his co-star. Just wondering.

30. Aaron Eckhart

(Drool / slobber) I forgive him for working with Gwenyth Paltrow, I guess he needed the work.

31. Gael García Bernal

Great actor. Willing to do any role. To the point where it is disgusting. Is he handsome? After a few drinks. Probably.

32. Idris Elba

Good looking, but he has such a "I'm sneaky" vibe about him.

33. Daniel Craig

Totally fugly. Totally sexy. Watch him walk.

34. Ryan Gosling

He lacks gravitas. He cannot carry a film.

35. Josh Lucas

The little brother of Matthew McConaughey. Just kidding.

36. Dennis Quaid

Looking good old man. I would hit that.

37. Milo Ventimiglia

Meh. I suspect he got Simone killed off of Heroes.

38. Ed Burns

Irritating voice. Irritating man. Yeah, I'd do him.

39. George Clooney

Great actor. Nice to look at.

40. Ewan McGregor

Like Rhys Meyers, I don't get the attraction factor, but he's a decent actor.

GoldenAh: I could just see myself harassing Jake Gyllenhaal, and not in a pleasant way. :)

I guess Jon Hamm didn’t make their list. I’d definitely do him. Like 9 times. And then another one just to make it an even 10.

GoldenAh: ROFLMAO. That’s my girl. We’re {{here}} on that. :D

I love your Jamie Foxx photo. It completely matches him.

GoldenAh: That’s all I see when I look at him. :D

But Gerald Butler is handsome! Have you seen his interview where he was trying to flirt with Queen Latifah? I would go backstage with him anyday…

Anywho, some of those men need to leave the list for sure but I co-sign on Sam Worthington. Now off to go look up his movies.~

GoldenAh: GB’s a cool dude. I thought he was hilarious in The Ugly Truth.

Well, I would have to agree with a lot of your list. Although I have a lot more passion for George Clooney, Denzel Washington and Johnny Depp than you do, I think.

I’d like to put a list together under the working title of “Guys who are dead, but I would have totally laid them while in their prime”.

Think about that for a moment. There could be a lot of manly men on that list; guys like Gary Cooper, Gregory Peck, John Wayne, William Holden, Humphrey Bogart, Sidney Poitier, Joseph Cotten, Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin, James Coburn, Sean Connery, Anthony Quinn, Richard Burton, Jean Renoir, etc.

Oh yeah, now we’re talkin’ some serious ish.

GoldenAh: Great idea. That will definitely be a future post! :D

I’ve loved Ewan McGregor since before Star Wars when I was a kid and watched IFC and the Sundance Channel. I remember this girl saying that the cast were a bunch of nobodies (she meant unknowns). Her mom said I don’t think their nobodies to which she replied I mean they are unknown actors until I said are you kidding? That’s Liam Neeson (damn that’s sad when Americans don’t know who Liam Neeson is)and Obi Wan is Ewan McGregor. It’s like people who act like Clive Owen was some overnight hit or Jude Law. I was like dude please watch movies that are outside of U. S. in fact watch some U. S. indie films as well

GoldenAh: I first heard of Ewan from Trainspotting. Who doesn’t know Liam Neeson? I have to see that last film he made with the kidnapped daughter.

Clive Owen. Yeah, baby! He likes his films weird: I still don’t get Children of Men. Still liked it though. Chiwetel Ejiofor is a good actor too. Don’t see much of him these days.

I love foreign films, I have to come up with a list, although it’s nowhere as extensive as I’d like.

  7. BWMM
July 8th, 2010 @ 9:48 PM I think it’s a site for gay men, but whatever they are right on the money

I have to see that last film he made with the kidnapped daughter.
Taken is a good movie. Scary as well. I’ve been reading more reports of human trafficing from other countries moving into France etc.

This would be funny if it was so sad and distrubing
So now Human Traffickers get a voice to complain about how they are portrayed in a movie.

GoldenAh: Taken. That’s the name of the flick. :)

There’s billions of people on earth, kidnapping them is rather easy, and it’s as old as time.

    LMAO @ Shar pei!
One hottie you left out was John Cho, though. I wouldn’t throw him out of bed.

GoldenAh: Now that you mention it, they could have added a few Asian guys like JC and Rain.

All these british, scottish, irish and australian dudes are hot!!!!!!

    Clive Owen
    Daniel Craig
    Jason Isaacs
    Jeremy Northam
    Colin Firth
    Michael Sheen
    Peter Wingfield
    Hugh Jackman
    Liam Neeson
    Damian Lewis
    Simon Baker
    Julian McMahon*
    James Purefoy
    Tony Curran
    Ewan McGregor
    Rufus Sewell

Some of them are getting older but I wouldn’t kick them out of bed for eating crackers (lol)

GoldenAh: Awww, yes. We need a hot EuroMan page!! I didn’t know a lot of the names, but man, do I know those faces!

I know Mr. Darcy though: Colin Firth. Got that DVD! :D

*Julian McMahon: I got special love for this guy. He wasn’t afraid to devote a whole season on Nip/Tuck to loving Sanaa Lathan. I know that wasn’t hard. LOL.

Oh, I bet it was hard, alright. Wink, wink, you know what I mean? Hard as a diamond.

I’d do her, and I don’t even go that way. LOL

GoldenAh: :D LOL. There was a couple of YouTube clips of the season with those two: Muy caliente!

She is very beautiful. I admire her looks. Did you know she was in Alien vs. Predator? I was shocked. Good role too.

    I have two words…

    Ed. Quinn.

GoldenAh: The guy from Eureka! Girl, I love these white actors who co-star with a sister, ’cause I’ll be honest with you I’m suspicious of a lot of those who never do. :D

    Ed Quinn.

    @Bellydancer -

Agree with you about the Scottish, Irish and English guys. Add in the Australians for me, too.

And Clive Owen! There is just something about him that I find mesmerizing, ever since I first saw him in “Croupier”.

Be still, my heart. He makes me so “flushed”. He’s a sensitive tough guy.

  14. Kay
    July 10th, 2010 @ 5:03 PM

Sometimes, I hate to admit how sexy this man is to me, but I have to co-sign on the Johnny Depp commentary. Bradley Cooper is gorgeous too, but I hated I wasted my money on “The Hangover”.

GoldenAh: How much do we love JD? Let us count the ways….

I got the feeling Hangover was like Old School, which was very very stupid funny. Haven’t seen it yet though.

Don’t look now, but there’s a sequel coming next year! :D

  15. rainebeaux
    July 10th, 2010 @ 8:59 PM

Aw shux, let’s just all get in line for Bradley Cooper, mmkay? No pushing, get yer tickets punched for the fuzzy handcuffs. :D (Had a thing for him since the Alias era.)
GoldenAh: {{Drops}} That line just kills. :D

Fugly sexy (re: Daniel Craig)…hey, how’s that work? Made me giggle, though. Yep, co-sign on Clooney: he’s like that fancy living room furniture nobody’s allowed to sit on, or that cabinet full of 25-year knickknacks…again, can’t touch them, but they’re somehow bereft of dust.

This post reminds me I gotta watch more movies…I know who most of these dudes are, but a few of the films escape me…and vice versa *scratching head*.

GoldenAh: I went cold turkey this summer. No flicks. So far, so good.

Can forget Martin Henderson he was Mr. Darcy in Bride and Prejudice (freaking hot man). He was up and coming, but after Heath Ledger died (who was his best friend) he sort of cooled off. Looks like he’s starting to be in more movies again. Hopefully he won’t end up being one those actors that are used as character actors to leads. This man should be a lead in all the movies in does.

Oh and that brings me to the late Heath Ledger. I always loved the fact that he avoided doing teen movies like 10 Things I Hate About You. He didn’t want to be trapped in a certain type of role.

I can’t remember if I read this or saw this on a docu, but one of the reasons stated that casting directors in Hollywood looked outside of America, mainly Australia (they still have the man’s movie) is because they look for the man’s man and many male actors here are more like man boys. Many equated this with many actors going to the method (in the U. S.) you have some actors in other countries who are method actors, but most are traditonal

    GoldenAh: MH is gorgeous. :D

I saw the movie B & P and cannot remember a thing about it.

I liked Heath. And I own that 10 Things DVD. :D

They appear to really take their craft seriously, and perhaps there is more formal support for “real” acting overseas. Here it’s about celebrity nepotism, formerly pretty but rapidly aging drug addicts, and being famous for no reason at all.

Oh sorry forgot Russell Crowe. It’s funny because I’d seen Russell Crowe movies before he even came to Hollywood. If anyone ever gets the chance check out The Sum of Us

GoldenAh: I can’t remember the movie name, but I enjoyed that scene where he slaps Kim Basinger. He was thinner back then, and looked real good.

Let me add Matthew Macfadyen who also starred in a version of Pride and Prejudice and was recently in the new Robin Hood movie. He is of british descent. It is something about those british men that is so conservative on the outside but if you got them alone they would tear some stuff up (sorry hot flash moment)

GoldenAh: LOL. I understand. That accent alone does the trick. :D

Max Ryan is a brit that was in Sex and the City 2 he was in scenes with samantha.

As far as the americans go here is a list.

    Patrick Wilson
    Bradley Cooper
    Ryan Reynolds (actually canadian)
    Zachary Quinto
    Jon Hamm
    Jeremy Piven
    John Cusack

GoldenAh: Max Ryan sorta reminds me of Jason Statham. Although Statham is rather hungry lean looking these days.

If anyone cares to see it, Matthew Macfadyen is on the first two and a half seasons of the BBC show MI-5. I found it on Netflix. He was pretty good in P&P.

  19. Browncow
    July 12th, 2010 @ 9:40 AM

I have to say that I agree with some, but not all on the list. I like Chris Pine, but would have liked to see Zach Quinto on the list too. He’s a non-traditional more ethnic looking type of guy. I don’t know where Jamie Foxx came from. I’ve always thought he was unattractive. Bradley Cooper is good looking, but he just looks like the type of guy that would be caught cheating on his wife in a major sex scandal or something. I can’t tell you why I feel that way. He may be really sweet, but he just looks sneaky. Anyways, that’s all for my input on hot guys.

GoldenAh: Yeah, ZQ is unconventionally handsome. Boy is he furry! :)

Foxx is also unattractive on the inside. I have no idea why Jamie or Tyrese is on that list, but I suppose someone on Premiere’s staff decided to employ some affirmative action. They know if they don’t include a certain percentage of black guys there will be complaints.

As for Mr Cooper – that’s why Rainebeaux suggests handcuffs. LOL. :D

Nice to hear from you Browncow.

Love MI-5 Matthew Macfadyen you made me think of Angus Macfadyen now that’s someone Hollywood didn’t know what to do with. I sure would have this also goes for Liev Schreiber (then again he’s big in theatre

Another thing is I wish Hollywood would utilize these peoples real accents. Must they always don the American Accent? This also goes for Americans with different accents. I’m so tired of stories set in different states etc. with the actor having that standard/general accent.

GoldenAh: He looks familiar: Angus Macfadyen. Hollywood often doesn’t know what to do with Brit actors, unless they can get themselves a gig like the Dr House character.

This guy is big: Liev Schreiber.

I liked Lost mostly because they let Sawyer (Josh Holloway) keep that sweet sexy drawl. It’s so rare to hear something like that on TV, most Southern characters always sound high pitched, fake, and annoying.

    July 12th, 2010 @ 11:41 AM

I did add Zachary Quinto to my list them brows make a girl’s heart flutter (lol)

GoldenAh: The number of times I watched Star Trek just to see him and Zoe lip-lock was ridiculous. :D

  22. Bellydancer
    July 12th, 2010 @ 1:27 PM

I must be tripping because I forgot to add Viggo Mortenson to somebody’s list. Blonde adonis!!!!
LOL @ Golden, girl you know he(Zachary as Spock) gave Zoe some vulcan loving later (lol)

GoldenAh: I love that mountain man look on VM. This pic is from Lord of the Rings.

LOL. :D There was more eroticism in the modest lip-lock(s) with Spock and Uhura than all that slobbering we usually see in movies.

Hello – 1st time poster here. But I had to comment on this:

I can’t remember the movie name, but I enjoyed that scene where he slaps Kim Basinger. He was thinner back then, and looked real good.

I giggled a good ten minutes over this. I think the movie is L.A. Confidential. Speaking of an Australian actor who doesn’t get much love, Guy Pearce is yummy to me (he was also in the aforementioned movie – I think as a shady character, though). He’s leaner than I usually like, but dang it, there’s something about him that calls to me.

Anyway, ditto on the preference for men who look like…, so I agree with almost all of your list. Love Jon Hamm and Ed Quinn. Daniel Craig is about an unconventionally attractive as one can get, reasonably fug to some, yet I’ve been crazy about him since Road to Perdition. And he certainly brings his own brand of sexy to James Bond. Love Liev Schreiber as well, although rumor has it he is rather prickly. I have a weakness for smooth, masculine voices (doesn’t have to be Barry Whitish, lol), and Liev’s is just scrumptious.

I have to agree with Browncow on Bradley Cooper. He does have a shifty look about him. The fact that some of his more well-known roles are arrogant buttmunches doesn’t help the perception. I’m sure he’s just a great actor, though!

Strangely enough, Ryan Reynolds is only attractive to me when he’s rocking the facial hair. Otherwise, he’s in the Zac Efron/Johnny Depp/Bradley Cooper category: does nothing for me, yet I objectively understand why the ladies swoon.

GoldenAh: I found a pic of Guy back in the day. He looks good. I remember him from Memento. That was such a weird / good film.

As for Daniel Craig: The Layer Cake. Nuff said.

L.A. Confidential! Yes, that’s the movie. Thanks for the tip and for stopping by, Daphne! :D

I tell you what though nobody can rock a pair of white jeans like Daniel Craig does in those bond movies. I was like damn this is new, white jeans on James Bond and don’t even mention those blue swim trunks from Casino Royal girls Daniel is all meat I mean man (lol)

    Yahoo Images of Craig

Charles Mesure another brit is not hard on the eyes either.

GoldenAh: Such beautiful eyes! Daniel Craig’s looking really good here.

Josh Lucas, Guy Pearce Snowy McGregor series. I loved them in that series as well as the guy who was the brother/minister of Guy Pearce’s character.

Another hottie Myles Pollard and the guy who played his brother in McLeod’s Daughters Aaron Jeffery. They were both in Wolverine (bit parts) Aaron Jeffery is the man Logan kills (his real father) in the beginning of the film.

I love Johnny Depp don’t get me wrong, but I cannot see him as Barnabas Collins.

Oh sorry they are making a movie of Dark Shadows as Johnny Depp acquired the rights. I like some of Tim Burton’s, but he has mainly let me down. All I gotta say is that this better not be some so called re-imagining like the CW pilot was. Just do a reboot.

GoldenAh: Friends of mine love Dark Shadows. I never saw it, but I did send them the entire DVD series.

I enjoyed the weirdness of Tim Burton / Johnny Depp doing Ed Wood, so I could see it happening.

OMG… I read this list at work and HOLLERed when I got to Jamie Foxx’s pic… I thought I was the only one who felt that way, THANK YOU! Geez, ugh… and I was so in love with Gerard… and Jake a lil bit.. now Sam… I mean you can look like a blue alien and still be fine, thats some real freakiness right there LOL.

I just don’t see the Rob Pattison thing AT.ALL. He needs a chicken sandwich or a Big Mac or 2 or 10. Now Hugh and Ryan… I would do some undigified things to get with them…lawd! Lemme simmer down….*fanning myself*

GoldenAh: Nope. Not alone. I sorta laugh the way the media, esp. the black media, acts as though we are obligated (by default) to like guys like the Shar Pei. Same thing with Rob. I don’t think so. They can keep that mess.

Well, I’m pleased I could make you laugh. :D

(really bad Irish accent) COLIN!! WHAR IS ME COLIN FARRELL, YA WENCH??

and why oh why would you insult such a kind and beautiful animal like the Shar-pei. You know Mr. Foxx is a mangy pit bull at best…

GoldenAh: Sorry. You are so right about the Shar Pei. :D

I love the more obscure brits – tho JRM and those crazy eyes do it for me every time!

Colin Firth has a younger bro named Jonathan that is absolutely scrumptious – Little Lord Faultleroy all the way!

Gary Stretch (sorry dont know how to link, you’ll have to Google) is an actor and former title holding boxer from Liverpool. Met him in LA – very bw friendly!

And he is not British, but I am having a major fit over Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds. He is more of an Indie actor, but he has got the thin white duke thing down pat!

Mandy Patinkin – nice smile and eyes, probably a dirty old man, which is ok by me…

Aaand….well maybe my white boy o-meter is broken, but I still find Mel Gibson a bit sessy – all that screaming and panting. Not to change the subject, but you wanna hear my take on this whole thing? LOL!!

GoldenAh: It’s interesting that no one thought of Colin.

Colin’s got a younger brother. Ahhhh, yes… I don’t see the resemblance though.

Gary Stretch: you mean this dude? There’s a very slight resemblance to Robert De Niro when he was young.

Matthew Gray Gubler – you love that hungry looking little thing, dontcha?

Mel Gibson‘s got that “I will wear you down and knock you out” wildness written all over him.
Do tell. I wanna hear your take on him.

LMAO!! OMG that was so funny!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the everyone’s “picks” for the most part. But that Idris (sp?) guy is so ugly to me. I’d Replace him with LENNY KRAVITZ :)

Don’t forget: Cristiano Ronaldo and Josh Hartnet ((hubba hubba))

Shia Labouf can get it too ;)

GoldenAh: I loved Lenny when he had the dreds / locs, that hairstyle looks good on very few men.

Don’t see too much of Hartnet or Ronaldo these days.

    Colin Farrell is hott!
I’d do him in a second… And I know he’s into black women because he made that sex tape with one ;)

GoldenAh: Oh, he did? Didn’t know that. Interesting. :)

Not too long ago Jonathon Rhys Meyers used to ‘N’ word when he couldn’t get on a plane. :(

GoldenAh: Really? {{frowning}} Yeah, not cool.

I wish we could get rid of the word, but something tells me another one would replace it. Le sigh.

Some hot guys on this list? Especially James (1), Ryan Reynalds, and Johnny Depp. That Rhys Meyers guy may have said what he said but he’s still fine in my book. I aint gotta marry him.

GoldenAh: James is good looking, but he’s so sulky and bratty to me. Ryan is still wearing way too many clothes. :D

Hello, LorMarie {{waving}}. I enjoy reading your blog. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Michael Fassbender — He was one of the co-stars in Inglourious Basterds–he played the Brit who went undercover as a German. Also, he starred in Hunger (2008), wherein one learns that his carpet matches his drapes! (I love that about non-American movies: full-frontal male nudity.)

GoldenAh: He’s been in a lot of movies. I looked him up and he was in 300 (drool). His picture here. And another one here.

Sorry, for posting more than once, but something “funny” happened with my computer the first time I posted here…

Note: I watch a lot of foreign movies and British television shows, which is why my picks are not Americans (although, I shall keep this list short).

Marc Warren — He played Danny Blue in the British television show “Hustle.” Also, he was a co-star in the British (and original version; the American movie re-make is not worth watching) television movie “State of Play”. As well, he starred in an episode of the British (original–again, better than the American re-make) t.v. show “Life on Mars.” The episode in which he stars, his fiancee is a black woman.

GoldenAh: I have to look for Hustle. I love Brit shows. Nothing predictable about them.

Sebastian Koch — He is a German actor. He was one of the leads in (one of the best movies I have ever seen) “The Lives of Others.” He is a well-known actor in Germany.

Ralph Fiennes — I think he lives up to the [proper] pronunciation of his last name; he is “fine.”

GoldenAh: Post as much as you like. :)

Euro guys are not only hot, they are damn good actors too. Me likes the full monty when it comes to these guys in foreign films too! LOL. :D

Sebastian Koch is not bad. I like rough-hewed looking men.

Fiennes is handsome. Someone sees a resemblance between Fiennes and Bradley Cooper. Interesting.

Nice to hear from you, Rhonda. :D

That Rhys Meyers guy may have said what he said but he’s still fine in my book. I aint gotta marry him.

A-men Lor!! Have you been thru LaGuardia lately – I have said that word under my breath after me and my luggage got manhandled by Laquinshetta many times. Course, if he said that at LAX, he would have gotten the cowboy piss beaten out of him….they dont play there…

Which makes me wonder….as much as “we” love press, how come no one came forward and told their story? You would think someone would have wanted to get on tv….

GoldenAh: Oh, how much we love the TSA workers at the airports: Let us count the ways. :D

And the negroes hate black women coming back from overseas. They are so mean and jealous.

Just let me on the damn plane, a toe nail clipper is not a lethal weapon!!!

Just let me on the damn plane, a toe nail clipper is not a lethal weapon!!!

Thank you!! On my last trip to Ireland, I almost lost my BWC (black woman cool) to a nigglette that wanted to haggle over my carry on toiletries. Finally, I told her to keep them, I WOULD GET MORE AND BETTER WHEN ME AND MY FIANCE (LYING) GET TO IRELAND!! RIGHT AFTER WE MAKE PASSIONATE LOVE IN A CASTLE!!!

….that shuts em up every time! Either that or we get strip searched….

    GoldenAh: ROTFLMAO. :D

It’s like they mad we got the nerve to travel!

Richard Roxburgh ain’t a bad looker. I actually liked him more than Tom Cruse in MI 2 and he was the freaking bad guy, but then I also love Dougray Scott.

Was I the only one that hated to see Dracula turn into that creature at the end. IDK I always tend to like the guy most movies and tv shows aren’t trying to push on viewers.

GoldenAh: Richard Roxburgh: doesn’t ring a bell, but he does remind me Billy Idol.

    Dougray Scott looks familiar too.

I’ve seen all of these guys, but I never check the show / film credits.

I watch a lot of foreign movies and British television shows, which is why my picks are not Americans (although, I shall keep this list short).

Me too. I realized a long time a go that I could name actors/actresses from tv shows and movies from other countries more than I could do the same for U. S. This was especially the case when I was thinking up a couple of tv series idea and cast for MZP-TV (have a while, before I can do my own show as I haven’t written on others yet)and realized that I wasn’t using any U. S. actors except maybe KeKe Palmer, Eric Dane, Avery Brooks, but everyone else was from another country. (this is for a vague scifi series idea. All I know is I want space travel, action and hot guy eye candy and good stories to My drama series ideas was the same as well

Now I haven’t been watching as many foreign films from countries like Germany, Italy, France (which after watching Priceless and B District 13 (hot cop boy. Whew!) I will start watching French films again) For a while I watched season 1-6 of Mcloed’s Daughters I don’t think I want to see season 7 and 8.

Oh and that reminds me. check out You can create a tv series (well written) You do have to work on others before you can become a show runner I believe. With all these pics you can cast you shows etc. Well of course you need to find leading ladies, but whatev.

Hell my problem is I need to get off my procrastinating ass when it comes to If I had kept at it I would be Oh well.

GoldenAh: Where is Mr. Avery Brooks? I so love dat man. I’d love to see a good quality film with many black actresses who look black and are black (yes, I went there), Avery Brooks, Dennis Haysbert, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Clive Owen, Daniel Craig, and any number of the rough hewed hot Euro men the ladies have listed.

    Damn, I’m drooling already. :D

Hi, Betty, just popping back in on this thread…

Although, this man is not a celebrity, when his picture appeared in my reader today, I thought that he would fit in well here. What do you think? If anything, this is a slight off-topic comment.

Note: He is one of many handsome/gorgeous/beautiful men who appears on that blog, which is a fashion/style blog of a photographer, who takes “man on the street” (women, too) photos of stylish persons whom he sees in NYC and during his travels.

GoldenAh: Sorry that your comment didn’t show up automatically. Sometimes WordPress puts comments into the spam folder.

He looks good. Very good. :D

Johnny Depp is the most beautiful man, I’ve ever seen and pretty like a girl, he’s got such delicate features and no matter how much he tries to look ugly, it never works. No one has made pirates that hot since Errol Flynn.

Love Hugh Jackman, first he’s just so tall, he’s so hot and he has the stink of responsibility all over him. That’s a heady combo.

What can I say about Bradley Cooper, the mine is just so fine he makes me go a little stupid when I see him.

And of course, Brad Pitt, I don’t care what nobody says I’d might push my fiancee over a cliff accidentally to have 10 minutes with him. Always proud of his N.O. work.

Ok, I love Leo as an actor but there is nothing remotely attractive him. George Clooney who they tried to say was the new Cary Grant, what an insult to Cary he doesn’t the sophistication that man had in his little finger in his whole body and he only looks good in a suit.

GoldenAh: Hey Eugenia! Bradley Cooper has a flick coming out with Ryan Reynolds next year. It should be interesting. I don’t hate Brad Pitt. I just find him and his baby-momma irritating. Maybe he’s as sincere as he portrays himself to be. George Clooney is fun to watch, and look at. He’s more Clark Gable than Cary Grant. No one can touch old Cary, with that I agree.

Nice hearing from you. Thanks for stopping by. :D

*sob* *sniff* Poor Robert Downey, Jr. (and his “Crazy Man” eyes)…LOL :D

I guess I’m the only one that loves him…besides his mama and his wife! LOL

    My other faves:

Simon LeBon and John Taylor (Duran Duran)

Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music…before he decided to spout idiotic racist junk)

Justin Heyward (The Moody Blues…”Nights in White Satin” is one of my ALL TIME favorite songs)

Toby Keith (when he can keep his mouth shut and NOT offend anyone; he reminds me of an old “ex” *sigh*)

Brad Pitt (before he became the henpecked un-husband of ALL TIME!)

Jon Hamm (there…I said it…I usually don’t go in for the ‘Brooks Brothers’ type…but, someone recently gave me pause…)

GoldenAh: I love Toby Keith. He’s got the strongest ICGAF vibe. I dig guys like that.

    And Jon Hamm. Hmmm. :D

@ GoldenAh: I saw TK in person….that is ONE BIG MAN (One could easily see why he pursued a career in “professional wrestling” for a while)!!! *gulp* :D *sigh* *blush*

I have to add to my list: Adrian Paul (Duncan McCloud, “Highlander” TV series)!

He just “popped” into my mind last night….oddly enough, just before I fell asleep! LOL Talk about sweet dreams!

GoldenAh: Oh, you saw him in person? {{little green monster perches on shoulder}} :D

I fished up pictures of Toby Keith and Adrian Paul (he has a young Sean Connery look about him).

Jay Hernandez is in Friday Night Lights — film, not TV series — with Derek Luke. And Billy Bob Thornton. And Lucas Black. Garrett Hedlund. Tim McGraw.

Maybe just go ahead and get the DVD. LOL.

“Euro guys are not only hot, they are damn good actors too.”

James Frain. Can turn Trash TV into Appointment TV with one of those smoldery stares of his (woe is my schedule!).
Married to a lady of color (missed my window, darn it). Spanish ambassador, Elizabeth. Cromwell, Tudors.
Would probably watch him read the phone book.

GoldenAh: Euro actors, yeah! :D I am always stunned stunned stunned by how many of them are here acting, and they do such a dead-on American accent. I’m still blown away by how Christian Bale can do an interview speaking American and then another with a cockney accent.

I like how they’ll marry a black woman, and won’t hide her like the guys here do.

Glad to be hearing from you, Rita! :D

I am a big fan of Aaron Eckhart. I watched Thank You for Smoking to the point I knew every line. This also happened with The Ten Commandments. Russell Wong is another who never seems to make the lists.

GoldenAh: I enjoyed that movie too. Very wry humor. That would be enjoyable to see again.

I like the “manliness” of Echart. Looks like a grown man. I’m not into these little boys that headline movies today.

  54. Densie79
    July 13th, 2011 @ 2:53 PM

Let me add Kevin McKidd too. He is perfect!

GoldenAh: Oh yeah, he’s another hot one. I had no idea he was the star of that cable series Rome. I keep meaning to watch that.

  55. Daphne
    July 14th, 2011 @ 8:20 AM

    Re: Kevin McKidd –

He was also the yummy star of a short-lived NBC show called Journeyman, so you may want to check that out as well. Not sure if it’s available on DVD. I tend to watch much of my movies and TV via streaming video these days. I think he’s on Grey’s Anatomy as well, but I don’t watch it, so not sure how prominent his role is.

GoldenAh: It’ll be a pleasure to look for him in TV shows and movies. I think Hulu or Fancast had that show on for a while. I was watching Grey’s Anatomy when he was added to the cast. That’s when I first noticed him, but they made him so weird, and the show worked my last nerve, so I stopped watching.

    1.james franco
2.max theiriot(i think he is better than james:D and i also think it’s only because i really like him!)
3.ryan reynolds( he is justtt soooo H-O-T….:D:D)
    4.josh duhamel
5.logan lerman(for a young actor like him…. he is pretty cool and cute:D)

    10.heath ledger(not that handome but he’s…..
i really love him and i’m so sad that he is not… u know alive anymore.. he was a really great actor…..)

GoldenAh: Got a nice list of guys here. It’s been a while, maybe I’ll devote a post to it before the summer movie blockbusters end.

    Thanks for stopping by, Samantha.

Weak list. I dont get the bradley cooper thing AT ALL. Jamie Foxx? Ew And Johnny Depp is the most overrated man in Hollywood. GREAT actor, looks are OKAY. I honestly dont get it.

    1. Orlando Bloom: I think he’s breath taking. Gorgeous dark hair, eyes like pools of chocolate, beautiful bone structure. Good mix of masculine and feminine. I like a pretty boy

    2. HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN: White and asian women love him but I think im the only black chick that gets it. Paul Walker is not the hottest blond, my baby Hayden is. So sexy in Takers, so sexy in jumper. Cant act his way out of a paper bag though. I like em tall lanky and sexy like him

    3. Chris Pine: Just gorgeous….enuf said

    4. Wentworth Miller: Probably one of the most beautiful men ive ever seen but also cant act

    5. James Franco: He’s hot and really likeable

    6. Joseph Gordon Levitt: Annoyingly cute and good actor

    7. Josh Hartnett (really love his eyes, very deep and love the shape)

GoldenAh: I don’t see any of your picks as masculine. They’re like big little boys – cute with infant formula breath – not grown men. :D

Levitt is a superb actor, I rather enjoy watching him. It’s good to see him get work in bigger films as opposed to the obscure stuff he worked on.

Thanks for sharing your particular taste with us, Caramel.

Woah totally forgot about Michael Ealy. He is right after Hayden. Idris Elba is up there as well.

GoldenAh: Yes, Ealy is good looking. His blue eyes are amazing.

I think John Christopher Depp II ( Johnny Depp ) is the best !!!

  62. v.goldenah
    November 17th, 2012 @ 9:38 AM

He has been able to have the most variety of roles compared to all the others. I’d say only Keanu Reeves comes close.

I try to see everything the two have starred in.

I have to say the following men do it for me:
    Robby Benson
    Donny Osmond
    Keanu Reeves
    Matthew McCougnley
    Patrick Dempsey
    George Clooney
    Robert Downey Jr.
    John Stamos
    Dermot Mulroney
    Pierce Bronson
    Aidan Quinn
    Brad Pitt
    Johnny Depp
    Zac Ehron
    Robert Hayes
    Cillian Murphy

GoldenAh: Pretty good list of guys. I see you like a lot of the blue-eyed dark haired types….

  65. Arlene
    January 25th, 2013 @ 3:07 AM

Charlie Sheen, Tom Cruise and Ashton Kushner does nothing for me.

GoldenAh: I find Charlie Sheen hilariously funny. Tom Cruise actually has gotten good looking to me, although he’s not my type. I feel he’s improved his acting skills somewhat. And I used to like Ashton Kutcher (thought he was hot), but I’m indifferent to him now.
