Happy Holidays: Hair Again – The Vanity Check

It’s been two years – I think – since I did a length check. It’s been a long time since I flat ironed my hair. I used a low temperature.

This will be my last length check, and putting up of online photos, since I am finally satisfied with my hair. It has never been this long before. Ever. I was a bald headed kid, and thinking back I’m glad I didn’t have much hair.

Oh, and Happy Holidays.

I usually don’t announce my hiatus, but I’ll be out of it for a couple of weeks. I have some books I need to finish (write, edit, polish, etc) up.

I may or may not respond to comments. Those who have access will be free to chat among yourselves.

Take care everybody. 😀

Korean Hip Hop / K-Pop: T.O.P – Turn It Up

Gorgeous young man. Makes me think of a young Vulcan, in a Spock-like kinda way. Sexy.

Everyone seems to move like Michael Jackson (R.I.P.) to me.

I wonder when the fusion of Korean and black American music occurred? That’s rather fascinating to me.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Ladies (and gentlemen), enjoy your holiday.

Don’t eat too much! It’s hard getting the pounds off after the festivities are over.

Don’t forget to avoid the relative(s) that’s always spoiling for a fight. You know who I’m talking about. 😀

When you go shopping on Friday, watch out for the stampede. Don’t get killed for the latest gadget. Be safe!

If you’re flying anywhere, remember to put on pretty underwear – the TSA will be watching and checking you out. 😉

After three drinks, you’re not responsible for what you say.

Cheers.

Gobble gobble and all that good stuff. 😀

I was chased by an angry wild turkey once, these critters move fast.

Count your blessings, and stay blessed.

I copied the following links from Acts of Faith in Love & Life.

A nice link-a-thon:

I have a larger compendium on my BWE page… not all are related to BWE / BW / IR, but these are blogs from or about black women.

Crazy White Boys: Eminem – Love The Way You Lie ft. Rihanna

I know the music video is about domestic violence, but Eminem and “Charlie” remind me of the “crazy white boys” back in my old neighborhood.

Why? They burned down a house. No one was in it, thank goodness, but these guys had a fearlessness that was just totally off-the-wall.
