Merry Christmas and Happy New York

Hope everyone is in fine health.

Please continue to take good care of yourselves.

Still on hiatus. I guess one day it’ll be over and I’ll be blogging again.

Hopefully, 2014 will turn out to be infinitely better than 2013.

Cheers.

  1. I wanted to give you guys a heads up..to be safe and protect yourselves.

There is an ebola outbreak. This is the Zaire strain that promises death, but from what I have been able to read online- it has mutated. It now has a longer incubation period and it can be transmitted sexually.

And this just in from Detroit…man that city has fallen. The frightening thing is that I don’t think it will be the only city where this will happen. It give me chills thinking about the Cholera and Dysentery outbreaks..

  2. More good news about BW:

“Furthermore, African American women are both the fastest-growing segment of the women-owned-business population and the largest share of female business owners among women of color, at 13 percent. African American women are starting businesses at a rate six times the national average, and their 2.7 million firms are currently generating $226.8 billion in annual revenue and employing almost 1.4 million people.”

  3. Oshun, I searched for the story and true to form, there were some who just couldn’t help themselves with their stupidity.

That said, there was a comment from a bm that made me chuckle. Bw are getting the heck out of dodge and this is just the start. Anyway, here’s the comment:

They’re ours! All you other men… get your eyes off of them! I’ve been fearing this day! The gentrification of Black Women 🙁
